“Link your AEON Member Plus Card & Make Your First Purchase to Get an Extra 1,000 AEON AMP Points” Campaign

1.    This “Link your AEON Member Plus Card & Make Your First Purchase to Get an Extra 1,000 AEON AMP Points” Campaign (“Campaign”) is organized by AEON CO. (M) BHD. [Company No.: 198401014370 (126926-H)] (referred to as “AEON” or the “Organizer”).

2.    This Campaign shall commence from 1^st July 2024 to 31^st August 2024 (“Campaign Period”). The Organizer shall reserve the right to revise the Campaign Period at any time without prior notice or assign any reason whatsoever. Any participation received outside of the Campaign Period shall be automatically disqualified and void.

3.    This Campaign is open to all cardholders of valid AEON Member Plus Visa Card (“AMP Card”) who have not made any purchase at myAEON2go website (https://myaeon2go.com) (“Website”) before the Campaign Period (hereinafter referred as the “Eligible Cardholder”).

4.    To be eligible to participate in this Campaign, Eligible Cardholder must fulfill the following criteria:

(i)            to register a myAEON2go account on the Website;

(ii)           to link the Eligible Cardholder’s AMP Card to their myAEON2go account on the Website using the following steps:-

(a)  access myAEON2go website on https://myaeon2go.com

(b)  click on “EARN AEON POINTS”;

(c)  click on "CONNECT ACCOUNT";

(d)  select “IC Type” and enter the Eligible Cardholder’s identification card number.

(e)  Tick the "I'm not a robot" section and click " REGISTER "; and

(f)   enter the OTP number received via SMS on the Eligible Cardholder’s registered mobile number in which a confirmation message will appear after successfully connecting;

and

(iii)          to make first purchase using Eligible Cardholder’s linked myAEON2go account on the Website.

(collectively referred to as “Qualifying Criteria”).

For the avoidance of doubt, existing account holders in the Website whom have linked their AMP Card and made purchase in the Website using their said myAEON2go account before the commencement of the Campaign Period shall not be eligible to participate in this Campaign.

5.    Each Eligible Cardholder’s participation shall be subject to the verification of the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the sole right to reject any participation for any reasons to be determined by the Organizer including but not limited to the following:

(i)            Eligible Cardholder’s AMP Card is terminated, closed or operated in an irregular or improper manner;

(ii)           Eligible Cardholder’s purchase transaction on the Website are disputed, cancelled, refunded, unauthorized or fraudulent;

(iii)          Eligible Cardholder has acted fraudulently or dishonestly;

(iv)          Eligible Cardholder has conducted himself/herself in bad faith or otherwise in an inappropriate manner to gain unfair advantage against the Organizer, its affiliates or service providers; or

(v)           such other reasons as the Organizer deems fit.

6.    Upon successful fulfilment of the Qualifying Criteria, Eligible Cardholder shall receive One Thousand (1000) AEON Points (“Campaign Reward”) which will be automatically credited to the successful Eligible Cardholder’s AMP Card via AEON Wallet application within one (1) month from the date of the aforementioned first purchase on the Website or any other period to be determined by the Organizer. For the avoidance of doubt, the Campaign Reward will only be recorded in AEON Wallet application and not be shown in myAEON2go Point Activity History.

7.    Each Eligible Cardholder shall be entitled to receive one (1) Campaign Reward ONLY during the Campaign Period.

8.    In the event of any disqualification after the Campaign Reward has been awarded, the Organizer reserves the right to demand for the return of the Campaign Reward or payment of its equivalent value from the disqualified Eligible Cardholder.

9.    The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the Campaign Reward with other items of the same value at their absolute discretion without any prior notice.  The Organizer shall not be held liable for any losses, claims, demands, costs, damages and expenses arising from the substitution of Campaign Reward, if any.

10. The Organizer shall not be held liable in the event of non-receipt or delayed receipt of the Campaign Award by the successful Eligible Cardholder.

11. The Campaign Reward is non-transferrable, non-returnable and not exchangeable for cash, credit, voucher and such other items in part or in full value for whatever reason.

12. All Campaign Reward is given out on an “as is” basis, and shall be used and/or taken entirely at the risk of the Eligible Cardholder and the Organizer excludes all warranties and liabilities in connection with the Campaign Reward to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. The Organizer reserves the rights to withdraw, cancel, suspend, extend or terminate this Campaign earlier and reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the Campaign at any time without any prior notice. Any new or amended terms and conditions will supersede the existing terms and conditions with immediate effect.

14. By participating in this Campaign, the Eligible Cardholder agrees and consents to the use of his/ her personal details, name and photograph by the Organizer for advertising and publicity purposes.

15. The Organizer, its directors, officers, employees, agents, sponsors and/or representatives shall not in any way be responsible and liable for any liabilities, claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred or suffered by the Eligible Cardholder or any third party arising out of or in connection with the participation in the Campaign, as well the redemption and/or utilization of the Campaign Rewards.

16. The Eligible Cardholder shall not be responsible or held liable in respect of any technical failures or any kind and/or electronic or human errors in the processing of a transaction performed via the Website.

17. The Eligible Cardholder shall indemnify and keep the Organizer, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, sponsors and/or representatives ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all claims, suits, costs, expenses, losses or damages (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the Eligible Cardholder’s acts, negligence, omission or breach of any of the terms and conditions of this Campaign.

18. The Organizer shall not be liable for any default of its obligation under this Campaign due to any force majeure events which include but not limited to acts of God, civil commotion, acts of war, strike, riot, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm, epidemic and pandemic or any events and circumstances of whatever nature beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer.

19. The terms and conditions of the Campaign contained herein shall be governed and be constructed in accordance to the laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

20. The invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of any terms and conditions hereunder shall not affect or impair the continuation in force of the remainder of the terms and conditions of this Campaign.

21. By participating in this Campaign, you hereby agree to be bound the terms and conditions of this Campaign including the Website’s terms and conditions

(https://myaeon2go.com/t/terms-conditions) and any other terms and conditions imposed by any third party governing the Campaign Reward.

22. Any decisions made by the Organizer in respect of this Campaign shall be final and binding.

23. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer expressly excludes and disclaims any representations, warranties or endorsements, expressed or implied, written or oral, without limitation to those published in any mass media, marketing or advertising materials, including but not limited to, any warranty of quality, merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose.

PRIVACY NOTICE PURSUANT TO PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010

·      In compliance with the laws of Malaysia, by participating in this Campaign, the Eligible Cardholder hereby consents and authorizes the Organizer to collect, process, keep and disclose the Eligible Cardholder’s personal data in accordance with the Privacy Notice in https://www.aeonretail.com.my/privacy.html. Any withdrawal of the Eligible Cardholder’s consent shall be made in writing and received by the Organizers and in such event, the Eligible Cardholder shall be deemed to have withdrawn from this Campaign.

·      Selaras dengan undang-undang Malaysia, dengan menyertai peraduan ini, Peserta bersetuju dan membenarkan Penganjur untuk mengumpul, memproses dan menyimpan maklumat-maklumat maklumat peribadi Peserta berdasarkan Notis Privasi di https://www.aeonretail.com.my/privacy_bm.html. Sebarang penarikan balik persetujuan yang diberikan, Peserta Kempen ini hendaklah menulis kepada Penganjur dan dalam keadaan yang sedemikian, Peserta Kempen ini adalah dianggap telah menarik diri daripada menyertai Kempen ini.
