Terms and Conditions

 

Shop at myAEON2go to Earn 2X AEON Member Points

 

1.      Campaign Period:

The “Shop at myAEON2go to Earn 2X AEON Member Points” (“Campaign”) is organized by AEON CO. (M) BHD.(“Organiser”) on the myAEON2go platform (myaeon2go.com) and commencing from 1st July 2023 until 31th December 2024 (“Campaign Period”). The Campaign shall be applicable during the Campaign Period on every Thursday ONLY.


2.      Eligibility :

2.1       This Campaign is open to all new and existing AEON Member Plus who have successfully registered to AEON Member Plus on the myAEON2go platform (“Eligible Users”).

2.2       For the purposes of AEON Member Plus point reward, Eligible Users must be an existing member/customer or have successfully REGISTERED to AEON Member Plus on the myAEON2go platform.

 


3.      Campaign Mechanics:

3.1.       Eligible Users must successfully register to AEON Member Plus on the myAEON2go platform within the Campaign Period.

3.2.       No minimum spend is required within the Campaign Period to earn the 2X AEON Member Points (‘Reward’) every Thursday.

3.3.       No minimum capping of AEON Member Plus Points is allocated during this Campaign and the Rewards will be provided to Eligible Users on a first-come-first- served basis at the Organiser’s sole discretion.

3.4.       Eligible Users acknowledge that there may be a lapse of time between transactions made using the Card and the crediting of the Reward into his/her account. As such, the Organiser does not represent and warrant for the Reward to be immediately available and/or reflected in the Eligible Users’ account.


4.   General Terms and Conditions:

4.1.       By participating in this Campaign, the Eligible Users are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by all the Terms and Conditions stated herein.

4.2.       The AEON Member Plus Points are not transferable to any third party, non-negotiable and non- exchangeable for cash, kind, in part or in full and/or other redemption item(s)

4.3.       The Organiser reserves the right to substitute this Campaign or the Reward with any other rewards of similar value at any time without prior notice.

4.4.       The Reward may be withdrawn or cancelled by the Organiser at its sole and absolute discretion if any purchase or transaction made by the Eligible Users under this Campaign is refunded, void, cancelled and/or fraudulent.

4.5.       The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend, extend or terminate this Campaign earlier in whole or in part, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions (including the Campaign period or date and frequency of fulfilment of Reward) at its absolute discretion without prior notice and without any reason(s) to Eligible Users. For the avoidance of doubt, unless expressly stated otherwise any such cancellation, termination or suspension by the Organiser shall not entitle the Eligible Users to any claim or compensation against the Organiser for any and any losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Users whether as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.

4.6.       The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the Eligible Users from receiving the Reward in the event the Eligible Users does not comply with any of these Terms and Conditions; or has committed fraudulent or wrongful acts in relation to his/her AEON Member Plus Point and/or any transactions made thereof or such other reasons as the Organiser deems fit.

4.7.       The Organiser shall not be liable in any way whatsoever, for any event arising from any act of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, natural disasters, technical or system failures of any kind, unauthorized human intervention and electronic or human error in the administration and processing of the Campaign, in so far as the Organiser has exerted appropriate measures to mitigate these risks with due care and diligence.

4.8.       By participating in the Campaign, it is deemed that the Eligible Users:

4.8.1.                consent the Organiser to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal data/information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign; and

4.8.2.                consent the Organiser to disclose their personal data/information to any related and/or associate company within AEON Group existing or future business partners or strategic alliances and/or any other third party as the Organiser may in its absolute discretion deem necessary or expedient for the purposes of the Campaign and shall be used only in relation to and for purposes of the Campaign; and

4.8.3.                consent that their photos or video clips may be used for current or future advertising and/or publicity in relation to the Campaign without any claim for payment nor compensation.

4.9.       The Eligible Users shall not promise, offer, commit, give or accept any form of gratification or consideration of any kind as an inducement or reward for doing or forbearance to do any act to obtain any form of benefit from the Organiser. In the event that the Organiser has reasonable ground to believe that the Eligible Users have not complied with this provision then the Organiser may, in its sole discretion disqualify and/or terminate the Eligible Users’ participations without prejudice to any remedy available to it.

4.10.    In no event shall the Organiser nor any of its officers, employees, representatives and/or agents (including without limitation, any third-party service providers engaged by the Organiser for purposes of the Campaign be liable to any person participating in this Campaign for any direct, loss of any nature, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (including, but not limited to, loss of income, profits or goodwill) arising from or in connection with this Campaign.

4.11.    These Terms and Conditions supersede any previous Terms and Conditions stated in any other promotional or advertising materials including the Organiser’s website or digital platform.

4.12.    The Terms and Conditions herein shall apply to and be read together with the provisions in the AEON Member Plus points General Information. These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time, and in the event of any discrepancies or inconsistencies between the Terms and Conditions, the new Terms and Conditions will supersede the existing Terms and Conditions with immediate effect.

4.13.    The Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia.

4.14.     The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to this Campaign will be final and binding on all Eligible Users. No further correspondence or attempts to dispute such decisions will be considered by the Organiser.

4.15.    The invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of any terms hereunder shall not affect or impair the continuing enforcement of the remainder of the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign.

4.16.    The Organiser shall not in any way be responsible and liable for any losses, damages or expenses incurred or suffered by the Eligible Users in relation to participating in this Campaign.

4.17.    Should the Eligible Users have any inquiry and/or feedback, the Eligible Users may drop the Organiser an e-mail at feedback@aeonretail.com.my.

PRIVACY NOTICE PURSUANT TO PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010

In compliance with the laws of Malaysia, by participating in this Campaign, the Eligible Users hereby consents and authorizes the Organiser to collect, process and to safe keep the required details and to disclose the Eligible Users’ personal details to the related parties involved in organizing this Campaign in accordance with the Privacy Notice in https://www.aeonretail.com.my/privacy.html. Any withdrawal of the Eligible Users’ consent shall be made in writing and received by the Organiser before the expiry of the Campaign Period and in such event, the Eligible Users shall be deemed to have withdrawn from this Contest.
